Yes, if you do something that negatively affects one group of people, whether it's due to race, gender, or some other factor, your intentions don't really matter, imo.

I would think that an unnecessary, non-contingent, logically possible (I guess entity that doesn't manifest in reality in any measurable sense, wouldn't really be worth considering. albeit on the opposite end of the spectrum.
